Joanne Angus LCGI
(Director, Head Stylist)
Joanne has a long experience in dog grooming, having groomed and taught since the 1980s. Joanne is one the founders of Groom Team England, and is keen to promote grooming excellence wherever possible.

Zoe Duffy LCGI
(Senior Stylist and Trainer)
From an early age, Zoe channelled her passion for animals through showing and grooming Lakeland Terriers. Now, with 20 years of professional grooming experience under her belt, she teaches and is an examiner for grooming qualifications. Zoe is a founder member of Groom Team England and has demonstrated at many seminars and events. She was also the presenter of 'The Bichon Frise' and 'The Clipped Long Legged Terrier' (The Styling Academy).

Chris Swain
(Fully Qualified Groomer)
Chris Swain began at Look North on work experience from school in 2003 and then became an invaluable full time member of staff just a year later in December 2004. Since then Chris has developed from a Groomers Assistant to a fully qualified groomer, successfully completing the Level 2 Intermediate qualification and the Level 3 Advanced qualification. Chris is currently working towards the Higher Diploma having already successfully achieved two of the units.
Chris works full time in the salon but easily lends his hand to student training when required, working alongside Zoe, and also providing a supervisory role with the work experience students.
He has entered grooming competitions throughout the UK and has been placed many times. In 2010 Chris won first place with a Border Terrier at the English Groomers competition and first place with a Clipped Lakeland at Groomer of the Year.
Pippa Murray
(Fully Qualified Groomer & Tutor's Assistant)
Pippa Murray began grooming in 2007 when she successfully achieved the City & Guilds Level 2 qualification. She began working at Look North on work experience shortly after, and then became a full time member of staff in summer 2010 when she attained the City & Guilds Level 3 Advanced qualification.
Pippa is not only a groomer at Look North but is also a tutors assistant. She works alongside Zoe in the first few days of student training delivering excellent tuition on preparation, bathing and drying. She is currently working towards her teaching qualification in the hope of becoming a full time tutor. Pippa provides a supervisory role to work experience students who come to us from the local colleges and schools, providing them with the invaluable information required to make their time with us enjoyable and successful.
